District 84 League of Volunteers spreads the LOV!
District 84 is recognizes special individuals who go above and beyond, stepping up inside their Clubs for extra duties, and stepping outside their Clubs to serve their fellow Toastmasters in other Clubs, our Areas, our Divisions, and/or our District.
These exceptional individuals will be recognized by induction into the District 84 League of Volunteers (LOV), and awarded our "LOV" pin that symbolizes the honor they have achieved through their Spirit of Volunteerism and Service!
LOV Awards will be announced at our Spring Conference Awards Luncheon in May.
Any Toastmaster can earn membership into the League of Volunteers, by earning 5 points for activities inside his/her own club, 5 points for volunteer activities at any District 84 club where he/she is NOT a member, and an additional 5 points either inside or outside your club (s) for a total of at least 15 points.
Activities and points are set out in detail on the League of Volunteers Application Sheet. Note that you may count upcoming activities for the Spring Conference if, on or before April 13, 2018 you have volunteered to be a contest functionary, conference committee member, contest master, or chief judge, or you have earned the right to represent your Division in the International Speech or Table Topics contest.
All submissions will be sent to the League of Volunteers Chair, Deborah Wilde, DTM
